Wired tri-cams are uniquely designed versatile climbing gear that provides semi-active camming lock when placed into vertical, horizontal or pocket spots. Swaged wire works as a spring that enables the tri-cam to lock in its position. It also enables secure placement with one hand only in various situations. Tri-cams are significantly lighter then regular spring-loaded devices (friends) and often work extremely well even in shallow cracks, pockets and over the edge placements. Swaged wire loops are color coded for easy identification and sizing. Made of extra durable aluminum alloy AlMgSi1.
