This is something like a community place. A place where we will try to post information about events that took part in the lives of those around us. Being it traditional climbers, sport climbers, boulderers, road-trippers, or simply friends, this is the place where we all come together and share what we all love - the passion for life as it is. If you want to share your story and pictures with the rest of us, just send us your materials via e-mail, and we will post them (using our common sense judgment).

Meltdown 2008 March 2008 As we turned another sheet of our calendars, it is impossible to oversee the fact that the springtime is approaching with a new season ahead of us (at least on the northern hemisphere). Brandon, a climber from Colorado, who has recently enriched his rack by a set of ViaMont tri-cams sent us a couple of pictures from his last year's adventures. Thanks Brandon and Good Luck! Maple Attack: Cobble Wars 2007 August 2007 As last year, this year we visited Maple Canyon in Utah. Once and again, it was a memorable trip during which we met many familiar and kind faces but also many new ones, making the trip a truly memorable experience.Japanese philosophers Kazuto and Nii, atmospheric scientist Brent from planet Atlanta, politically tuned Frank with health-counseling Jenn, veterinarian Mag with beer-making ski-torpedo Alex, Millennium-loaded Chuck from Petzl, Chris with "Diamond" dreams, Nicole with arms loaded with "powerbars", Rosie dancing in Cuban rhythm and Clay the Beta-Distributor, Robin just stopping by to "kill" Sprout, or Boulder-based trio George-Karen-Mag, they all made sure that every day felt like no other day. On top of it, we managed both to defeat several cobble-classics and get spanked by several others (to make sure we return with vengeance). Thank you all for being part of our trip and see you during Cobble Wars 2008, right? Photo: Enter the Cobble Wars! |

Where are they from? February 2007 Who? Nuts, stoppers, and tri-cams by ViaMont. Made in the Czech Republic, a little country in the middle of Europe, famous for its capital Prague (Prague Castle on the picture to the left). See our postcard from the Czech Republic here. Media: Photo gallery |

"Cooling down" for winter on Borah Peak, ID September 2006 We have just received a few pictures from our friend that we want to share with you. They describe the North Face route on Borah Peak. "...It's a super classic 600 meter route that doesn't get climbed that often, maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's in Idaho!" Media: Photo gallery |

Leavenworth Reloaded, WA July 2006 Although this place is popular for traditional climbing since it has more rock than one can ever climb in his or her lifetime, we decided to try its bouldering spirits and beauty. Here is couple pictures that provide limited peek into what our Turkish friends Ozge and Berna and my wife and myself have experienced. We all highly recommend this place to anybody who enjoys moderate bouldering on relatively finger friendly granite. Media: Photo gallery

Maple Revisited, UT May 2006 Not that Maple would be a great place for placing tri-cams, but it is a great place for sport climbing fun. For Marci and David, it was an opportunity to re-visit the place and meet once and again climbers they met before. Below you will find their small photo galleries.
